Hello, my name is Ron Miller. I'm a freelance web developer and student of computer science at Chico State.
This website is dedicated to showcasing the personal and client work I have produced, as well as to make known the services I can offer to you.
Talents & Philosophy
I have a strong background in XHTML and CSS; I have been using the two for website development since 2001. I have also been developing dynamic, data driven websites and applications using PHP and MySQL since 2003. I am also well versed in JavaScript and AJAX techniques having created projects that rely on these technologies.
Although development is my bread and butter, I have also been active in design related work since early 2004. Most of this work was creating custom website designs for clients, many of which are seen in my portfolio.
I am a firm believer in web standards and tend to take a “less-is-more” approach when it comes to designing for the web. I like to keep things as simple as possible without detracting from overall functionality. Browser and platform compatibility is a key; I want your website to be functional regardless of what system your client is using.
Services Offered
I am available for web development services ranging from simple web updates, to small custom written scripts, to full-blown database driven application development. I am also available for website design, script installation and many other services.
