WebCustomise
Website Information
WebCustomise was a partnership created between myself and a collegue, back in 2004. Its goal was to offer many different services including web development and design, pre-made template reselling, free scripts and graphics, and more.
WebCustomise also offered designers the ability to sell their website templates using the service and receive the majority of each sale. Although it was an ambitious effort, little interest in the service prompted my partner and I to move on to new ventures.
Website Features
- Content Management System
- A CMS is a system designed to simplify the publishing of content to your web site. It allows content to be created, modified, and deleted without requiring technical knowledge of HTML, CSS or other web technologies.
- User Management System
- User management systems typically go hand-in-hand with member registration or remotely hosted software systems. The system allows administrators to manage user accounts by performing actions such as modifying or deleting user accounts, reseting passwords, etc.
- Member Registration
- Member registration systems allow visitors of your site to signup, login, customize a personal profile, have access to advanced or privileged features and more. Membership systems are typically integrated with other features of a website, such as voting or commenting.
- PayPal Integration
- PayPal integration allows your visitors to purchase items on your website and typically updates records behind the scenes, notifies you of the purchase, or any number of other tasks you need to perform.
